Rex Property Manage allows you to create your own Message Templates to make it easy, streamlined and personal to touch base with your owners, tenants and other contacts.
Create a Message Template
You can create and manage Message Templates through Settings > Message Templates in the main left-hand menu.
Once in the Message Template Centre, you'll be able to see all your Message Templates which to edit you can click into.
You also have the option in the top right corner to Create a Message Template.
Here you will be prompted with the below fields:

Template Name - Enter an easily identifiable name

Message Relates to - What record type is this relevant for
-
Sent From - Who is this message from
-
Recipient Group - Who is this message being sent to
- How Should this Message be Sent
- Send Message to Outbox for review
- Send Immediately
From there you can select Create Template and View and get to writing out your message.
To edit the message contact just select the pencil icon in the top right corner of the content block.
Here you can also select if you're creating an SMS, Email or Letter Template.
You do have the option to use Merge Tags to make your message more personable in an automatic way.

Once you have entered all the content you can select Save and your message template is ready to be used across Rex Property Management.
Duplicate a Message Template
Rex PM does come with a handful of pre-set templates to help get you started which you may want to edit or an existing template that you might want to re-work.
In both these cases you may want to duplicate the existing template which you can do using the below steps:
1. Click on Messages

2. Click on Message templates

3. Select the three action dots

4. Click on Duplicate message template
