Rex PM allows you to keep a record of the Keys on your Properties so you can ensure you understand what keys are for each Property.
Add Keys to a Property
You can find Keys on the Property Record on the left-hand mini-menu.
In this screen, you can select Add Key Set to add a new Key.
When adding the key you have the option to add the Key Name along with any notes and images of the keys as well.
Managing Keys
Rex PM allows you to keep track of your keys with a check-in and check-out system.
Check Keys Out
To check a set of keys out to a tenant, owner, supplier or any contact within your database you can follow the below steps:
- Go to the Property
- Head to the Keys page
- Select the three dots at the end of the key record
- Select Check Out from the menu
- Enter the below information
- Key Holder
- Check Out Date
- Expected Return Date (optional)
- Notes (optional)
- Click Check-Out
Check Keys In
Once the keys have been returned you can check them back in using the steps below.
- Go to the Property
- Head to the Keys page
- Select the three dots at the end of the key record
- Select Check In from the menu
- Confirm Check In Date
- Click Check In
