Message Triggers in Rex PM allow users to send automated emails to their portfolio based on specific actions, such as receipting and disbursing funds. This feature ensures timely communication with tenants, landlords, and other stakeholders.
Before configuring Message Triggers, ensure that you have created the appropriate Message Template that will be used for sending emails. Message Templates define the content and format of the email and allow you to choose how the message should be delivered.

Message Trigger Settings
Message Trigger Settings serve as the control centre for managing automated messages triggered by specific actions within Rex PM.
To access Message Triggers:

Navigate to Settings in Rex PM.

Click on Message Triggers.
To set which Template to use:
- Go to Settings > Message Triggers
- Select the pencil icon on the block housing the trigger type you'd like to set up
- Under the trigger, select the message template from the drop-down
- Choose which Channel you would like to use the drop-down under Selected Channel

Please note, that you must configure your message template to include a template for each channel you want to use otherwise they will not appear in the drop-down.
