Rex PM allows you to conduct your inspections on the go by allowing instant uploads of photos and comments which are then generated into a report fit to send to your owners.

Within this flow you have the option to send the reports directly to the owner so it is useful to have a pre-set template which you can create using the steps here - Message Templates
Create Report
For a new Property where an inspection has not yet been completed:
- Open Rex PM on desktop or on a web app on mobile
- Go to Tasks > Inspections
- Select the Inspection you'd like to complete
- Go to the Inspection Report tab
- Click Create Report
- Enter the Room Names
- Click Save
- Select the pencil icon on the room you'd like to complete
- Enter the Condition of the room
- Poor
- Fair
- Good
- Enter any Comments about the room (speak to text is available here)
- Click Upload Images (if on mobile you'll have the option to take photos to upload directly)
- Once all rooms are complete click the three dots next to Inspection Report > Complete Report
- Tick to Send to Owners or Complete
For an existing property where an inspection has been completed previously:
- Open Rex PM on desktop or on a web app on mobile
- Go to Tasks > Inspections
- Select the Inspection you'd like to complete
- Go to the Inspection Report tab
- Click Create Report
- Select the pencil icon on the room you'd like to complete
- Enter the Condition of the room
- Poor
- Fair
- Good
- Enter any Comments about the room (speak to text is available here)
- Click Upload Images (if on mobile you'll have the option to take photos to upload directly)
- Once all rooms are complete click the three dots next to Inspection Report > Complete Report
- Tick to Send to Owners or Complete
Managing Reports
Once you're inspection i complete the report is always available within Rex PM to refer to at any time.
This can be easily accessed or sent to the relevant parties using the below steps:
- Go to Tasks > Inspections from the main menu or Tasks > Completed from the Property record
- Select the Inspection you'd like to complete
- Go to the Inspection Report tab
- Select Actions > Download Report or Send Report
Managing Rooms
The first time you action an inspection report for a new property you will need to create the rooms.
This will be saved for any future inspection reports, but if you'd like to change the name or split up spaces you can do so using the below steps:
- Open Rex PM on desktop or on a web app on mobile
- Go to Tasks > Inspections
- Select the Inspection you'd like to complete
- Go to the Inspection Report tab
- Select the three dots next to Inspection Report
- Click Manage Rooms
- Once you've completed your edits click Save
